A Child’s Christmas
I love Christmas.
I wrote last year of my despair that some churches don’t make enough of it, so I won’t rant again. Instead I’ll share something I found whilst tidying my attic. On a tape of a Christmas radio programme I produced a VERY long time ago I rediscovered a section written and read by Dave Kitchen. It’s no eloquent sermon or finely-honed argument, yet in 70 seconds Dave manages to capture perfectly how I feel about Christmas.
Whatever we may agree or disagree about, I pray that this Christmas we will all take some time to be wide-eyed and amazed at the miracle of Christ’s birth.
Happy Christmas.
PS. Thank you Dave, wherever you are.
